I visited the Baduy village which is located outside of Jakarta, Indonesia transferring trains and buses and 2 hours walk into the mountains. Baduy tribes are known for their strict rules to protect and keep their culture. This is a photo of a Baduy father and son who guided me, and as you can see, they only wear black or white, and with knives. They walk anywhere bear foot, and what was most impressive was that the child always assists his father quietly in a good manner.
Here, his father is hand weaving a bracelet from a singe rattan vine. It was a refreshing experience to take a bath inside the river. I have home stayed in this hut, sleeping inside the sound of forest and waking up by the sounds of noisy chickens.
